Continuous Usage Intention Toward Interactive Mixed Reality Technologies

Through the theoretical lens of perceived characteristics innovations (PCI) framework, main purpose this research was to examine whether interactive technologies—interactivity, hypertextuality, modality, connectivity, and virtuality were related user involvement, which in turn intention continue using mixed reality platforms. An e-survey questionnaire administered active technology users (n = 268) across US. Findings revealed that interactivity, positively whereas, hypertextuality showed no significant impact. Furthermore, hypothesized relationships between technologies involvement continuous usage greater for platform with high digital literacy than those low levels.
